Karen is a 33year old mom of 3 amazing sons (15,7, & 10 months) she has been employed by the postal service for almost 11years she is very hands on with her sons education she is a hard worker and always ready to lend a hand to help where she can her being a teen mom has made her want to help the youth and let them know it’s so much this world has to offer them.

TASHA DAVIS - BURROUGHS

Tasha is a wife and mother of 6. She is a very motivated business owner with over 15 years of business experience. Tasha operates as well as manages Build'em Up Academy Daycare Center, and Telecommunication business by maintaining all financial and bookkeeping responsibilities. She is also the Treasurer of AWISH. Tasha's a certified childcare provider, CPR, and First Aid. She is very passionate about helping others. She enjoys giving her time and devotion to those in need, as this is her specialty!

Baseemah McDaniel

Hello, my name is Baseemah McDaniel. I am a mother of 4 beautiful adult children and a grandmother (maymom). My children and family are my most prized possessions. I have been working for The Board of Social Services for Atlantic County Government for the past seven years. This role aligns with my dedication to community service. I have a passion for helping others. I also work as a Realtor, licensed in New Jersey and a New Jersey Notary. Prior to my work with Atlantic County, I worked for Atlantic City Board of Education as a Substitute Teacher. My previous volunteer work includes being involved with mentorship groups such as Pink Star Diamonds and as a track coach for The Hamilton Knights. Some of my favorite things to do are gathering with family and close friends, lounging at the beach, lake or pool, working out, learning new ways to improve my overall health and teaching what I learn to others. My commitment to service is exactly why I am proud to be a board member.

HASANAH ROBINSON

Hasanah Robinson is a mother and works as a Logistics Tech for a hospital. She loves to help others in anyway she can. Hasanah’s lovable, dependable, caring, and always willing to lend a hand when she can. Family is significant to Hasanah, it's a life principle that she also wants her children to have. She loves her family, so she'll do anything for them. Hasanah is also a Scentsy consultant, as well as the secretary for AWISH. Hasanah takes the minutes for meetings, create documents, take phone calls, and help with whatever else is needed in that time. Her motto is: "We only get one life, and we should do what we love."
